  Columbia, SC and Arleta, CA members - I need your help

  my 18-year-old daughter in columbia, sc ran away to arleta, ca to move in with jw family.

  they are living together with the mother's permission in her house along with 10 other family members.

  she is surrounded by jws 24 hours a day, seven days a week.. is there anyone in the columbia area who would be willing to help me - maybe meet for a cup of coffee or facetime.

  You may have some legal options after all.

  Many x-Jws are still in a state of recovery from the

  trauma of very high level cult control and they do tend

  to be very judgmental. Even deluded into thinking that

  The Borg Cult does maintain high "moral standards."
  

  That the young man who effectively "abducted"

  your daughter was "out of state" to purchase guns

  and then returned to L.A. does not bode well.

  they said she lived in a bad situation, but i don't believe them.

  Most interesting story and commentary!

  It would seem that your vulnerable daughter has has fallen under the spell of a very skillful manipulator who is possibly a narcissist. Unfortunately, these kinds of "high control" situations never have happy endings. A "Cult of One" can be very difficult to break free from.

  Make the trip to discover all you can about the family, the young man who has infatuated your daughter to the point of controlling her and the health of your daughter. If she is to be rescued it must be done before too much time has gone by. Best done by professionals.

  i have been clear now for 22 years but i am still obsessed.

  after going on and on about my experiences to friends and family i have finally realised that no one is interested.. they have won.

  no one cares about my ptsd or my suicide attempts or my alcohosm.. i have no one to talk to about this but i really need to get the infection out of my system because it is killing me..

  You've said it well: clinging to the bad experiences is a killer.

  Sadly, learning how to "let go" seems contrary to our intuition and we tell ourselves that it just can't be done. We tell ourselves that the resentments and the hatreds are just too damn deep.

  We don't listen to the only ones who really care because they tell us to simply "let it go!" What do they know anyway?

  But the solution, the freedom, the restoration of sanity is truly that simple: Let It Go. When you let it go their power over your life ends.

  Funny News From My Old Congragation - Elder Fight!

  i haven't stopped laughing since i heard this.

  a pimo in my last congregation told me that an elder has been removed from his elder position.

  apparently he grabbed another elder by the throat, put him up against a wall in the back room and punched him in on the nose... during an elders meeting on thursday evening after the meeting.. the congregation were running round like headless chickens wondering what to do?

  It's difficult and at times seems to be an impossibility; but, it is poison and you must somehow let it go.

  They were/are deceived and they knew/know not what they do.

  In due time accountability will come due. True, not nearly as speedily as we'd like it, but it shall.
  

  With letting it go comes peace and pity for those who've done you wrong.

  Those who worship Satan tell us that he is indeed real. Some have revealed that he will manifest in certain rituals and ceremonies and that he is very tall and incredibly beautiful. Satan has the power to produce feelings of extreme ecstasy and a complete sensation of deep love and happiness in the hearts and minds of his worshipers.

  The Word tells us that Satan is not "all bad all the time." In fact, Satan spends most of his time acting as an angel of light who appears to do good deeds. The Word also tells us that he is loved as much as all of the sentient creation, in spite of numerous flaws, and he too will be healed and made whole. Look at the example of Saul of Tarsus as an indication of how "all things are possible."

  Korea is a beautiful, enchanting place with an incredible people. Very sadly, South Korea is naught more than a Puppet of Washington. If there is ever to be peace, unification and prosperity in the Whole of Korea the puppet-strings must be broken and the Korean People must take their destiny into their own hands.   jws teach that john the baptist would not inherit kingdom of heaven.

  however, there are problems with this teaching.. john’s mother elizabeth was both barren and too old to conceive.

  (luke 1:7) birth of john was an act of “holy spirit.” (luke 1:15) then we find jesus saying: “among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than john the baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven [“kingdom of god,” luke 7:28] is greater than he.” (mathew 11:11; luke 7:28).

  John the Baptist has great significance as does the Lamb of God (Son of Man) and all who followed him as he showed The Way. The Son of Man was the first of the "anointed ones" as his Apostles were themselves the first who followed Him. Those who return to Heaven must first come from Heaven.

  Some of the many Angels who sinned have repented. What must they do to prove themselves worthy of re-integration into the fold? Saul, who became Paul, also adds meaning to the process. The Story is truly an amazing one. The Word provides clues (hidden gems) which enable us to comprehend.
